Benefits of Peat Bedding

Peat Bedding is a highly absorbent material holding up to 10 times its weight in moisture. Animals bedded on peat will be extremely comfortable, clean and dry. Significant savings in time spent bedding sheds as peat bedding will remain dry for up to eight weeks. Ideal for all types of bedding including cubicles, open sheds, calf houses and poultry units.
Peat Bedding can be spread straight out of sheds directly onto silage ground in the spring time and famers can still cut silage with no worries of contaminating their silage. Peat Bedding is also an excellent soil conditioner.
